BizTas Visitors Terms of Use
The BizTas website ("BizTas") is a free service provided by the Tasmanian Government ("the Crown") to the public ("Visitors") and to businesses and organisations that have a connection with the State. The information about each business listed in BizTas ("Business Content") has been provided by the business itself and each business is responsible for the accuracy and currency of that information.

General
The Crown is not responsible for the Business Content stored in BizTas and does not endorse or warrant that it is accurate, complete, relevant or up to date. After locating a business on this site, Visitors to the site should make their own independent enquiries directly with any business which is of interest to them and, where appropriate, seek professional advice before relying on any claims made in the Business Content. The Crown does not accept any liability for any damage howsoever caused by relying on the Business Content. Visitors are responsible for ensuring that they use the most recent version of the Business Content.
Translation
BizTas may provide a translation function in association with its service. If such a function is provided the Crown makes no warranty as to the accuracy of the translation provided and does not accept any liability for any damage howsoever caused by relying on the translation.
Copyright, trademarks and brands
As part of their agreement with the Crown, businesses are required to warrant that:
- they have the right to publish the Business Content and to refer therein to any copyright material, trademarks and brands;
- the Business Content is accurate and truthful; and
- they will make changes to the Business Content as and when required.

Crown policy on copying
In keeping with the Crown's commitment to encouraging the availability of information about businesses in Tasmania, Visitors are welcome to reproduce the material that appears on BizTas for personal or non-commercial use, without formal permission or charge.
Links to other websites
Links to other websites have been included for Visitors' convenience. The Crown, in its role as manager of BizTas, does not accept responsibility for information or services on any other website.
Cookies
Cookies are files that store information about a Visitor. The Crown may use Cookies to store personal information about Visitors. Visitors can choose to turn off this feature through their Web browser.
