How to Register
Click here to register your business or organisation. It's free. The minimum requirements are:
- your organisation is registered with an ABN
- you have at least one physical office in Tasmania
- you have an email address (if you don't have one click here for a list of service providers who offer free e-mail)
When you register, you do not have to know the answers to all the questions. You can always save your entry for later and come back to add or change information. You decide when to publish your record and you can hide it at any time. Biztas offers Tasmanian businesses the opportunity to promote their products and services to the world. Biztas is free.
If you wish to have a listing then you must accept the terms of agreement.
Lost Your Password?
First check your email Inbox. When you registered, an automatic email was issued to you with your username and password. If you still can't find it click on forgotten your password.
How to Search by Industry
You can search the industry categories listed until you find the subject that interests you. You will see all the businesses that fall into that category or sub-category. Industry categories with no current listings will not be displayed.
How to Search by Free Text
Enter a word or phrase in the search bar. For example, search for the town "Kingston" to see all the businesses registered there. You can search by any fragment such as a telephone number, brand name, product or contact name. BizTas will display exact and partial matches to your query. When you are in a sub-category, you can restrict the free text search to only display results in that category.
Alphabetical Search
You can click on any letter to see an alphabetical list of businesses and business categories beginning with that letter. Business categories are displayed at the top of the screen, with business names listed below.
How to Translate
The BizTas website currently translates into French, German, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese. For technical reasons free text searches must be made in English. Details such as company name and address remain in English. The translation service may not always be available.
