About the Manufacturers Capability Register

The Tasmanian Manufacturers Capability Register is a detailed listing of over 600 manufacturing businesses located in the State. The Register is produced by the Department of Economic Development's, Development Projects Unit (Manufacturing and Services) which aims to improve the quality, profitability and success rate of Tasmanian manufacturing and services enterprises.

Membership criteria

To become a member of this Register, you must be a manufacturer with a business based in Tasmania. The Tasmanian Manufacturers Capability Register does not discriminate against any business in terms of their employment size or production capabilities. This makes the register a comprehensive source of information on the manufacturing capabilities of Tasmanian firms.
